Bio
Troy Dodson is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner whose work integrates evidence-based psychiatry with a deep appreciation for the biological, emotional, and lifestyle factors that influence mental health. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and brings a diverse clinical background that includes Trauma ICU, inpatient psychiatry, and functional medicine. Troy’s integrative approach reflects a belief that healing happens when care looks beyond symptoms to understand the full context of a person’s life and physiology. He is currently completing advanced training through the Psychiatry Redefined Fellowship, where he is deepening his expertise in metabolic, environmental, and lifestyle influences on mental health. His connection to veteran communities is shaped by time spent working alongside U.S. personnel overseas and by leading community-driven initiatives to support military families. As both a clinician and a parent of three adolescents, Troy provides care for children, teens, adults, and mature adults with compassion, curiosity, and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment. At Modyfi Health, he is committed to whole-person care that supports resilience, function, and long-term well-being.
