Amber Berkhart, LCPC, is an experienced and compassionate licensed clinical professional counselor at Modyfi, a mental health clinic with locations in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Indiana and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Level 2 (CCTP-II). 

Amber understands that resistance is a normal part of the therapeutic process and aims to help her clients navigate the challenges they face. With experience working with underserved populations, Amber is confident in her ability to guide others through the process of creating lasting positive changes in their lives.

As a professional counselor working with both adolescents and adults dealing with a range of mental health issues, including addiction, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and eating disorders, Amber has a keen understanding of each client’s unique struggles, needs, and personal goals.
