Amber Berkhart is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience in mental health counseling. She is highly skilled in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, working with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and children. Amber is known for her ability to develop rapport quickly and her creative intervention strategies, making her an effective therapist in fast-paced environments. She is currently providing care through telehealth at Modyfi, Maryland, where she meets with patients to offer support and counseling. Before joining Modyfi, Amber worked as a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, where she collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to treat children who had experienced various forms of abuse. Her previous roles also include being a Primary Therapist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, where she facilitated group therapy sessions on topics like LGBTQIA+ issues and mindfulness. Amber holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
