Amber Berkhart, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, and children. She specializes in trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, and is known for her ability to build rapport quickly and help clients navigate resistance to change. Amber believes resistance is a natural part of the therapeutic process and works with clients to move through it with compassion and patience. At Modyfi, she provides telehealth therapy to clients in Maryland. Her background includes working as a Behavioral Health Counselor at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, supporting children who experienced trauma, and as a Primary Therapist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center, where she led groups on mindfulness and LGBTQIA+ topics. Amber holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis.
